This program incorporates a combination of theory and practice through presentations, group discussions, role plays and self paced learning.

Course Outcomes
On successful completion of this program, participants will be provided with a Certificate II in Security Operations (Qualification), Partial Certificate III in Security Operations (Statement of Attainment), First Aid Certificate and may apply to the Office of Fair Training for a Security Officer (Unarmed) / Crowd Controller Licence.
Prerequisites
Must be 18 years or age or older and have had no criminal convictions in previous 10 years to be eligible for a Security Providers Licence. Note. Driving offences (eg. speeding, drink driving, etc) are not normally disqualifying offences.
Licensing
The Office of Fair Trading charge $320.50 to apply for a Security Providers Licence and Criminal History Check. This is not included in the course fee. You cannot gain employment as a Security Officer or Crowd Controller until you have received your licence (approx 3 - 4 weeks after application).
Duration
Option 1 (Face-to-Face) 6 days in class (Monday to Saturday) Classes are conducted from 8.45am to 4.30pm.
Option 2 (External) Self paced study from home.
Attend 2 days in class to complete the practical training/assessment
